HONOR X7e Plus 5G Arrives in UAE with 8100mAh Battery

HONOR has announced the UAE availability of the HONOR X7e Plus 5G. The affordable smartphone focuses on battery life, durability and practical daily features.

Its main highlights include an 8100mAh battery, 45W charging and three water-resistance ratings. HONOR has also added a dedicated AI button and several software tools.

An 8100mAh battery for demanding days

Battery capacity is the biggest attraction of the HONOR X7e Plus 5G. The phone carries a typical 8100mAh battery, with a rated capacity of 7900mAh.

This capacity should appeal to users who spend long hours away from a charger. It could also suit delivery professionals, travellers and heavy social media users.

The phone supports 45W HONOR SuperCharge. However, users need a compatible HONOR charger and cable to achieve the maximum charging speed.

HONOR also claims the battery should retain more than 80% of its capacity after five years. This estimate comes from simulated laboratory testing.

Stronger protection against drops and water

The HONOR X7e Plus 5G has IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust-resistance ratings. These ratings cover different forms of water exposure under controlled testing conditions.

HONOR also includes Wet-hand Touch Enhancement, underwater photography and a dust-and-water ejection function.

However, water resistance is not permanent. Protection can decrease because of regular wear, accidental damage or repairs. The phone should never be charged while wet.

For drop protection, HONOR claims the phone can survive falls from heights of up to 2.5 metres onto smooth granite. It also carries SGS certification for drop and crush resistance.

Large display and louder dual speakers

The phone features a 6.87-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,020 nits of peak brightness.

HONOR has included DC Dimming, Dynamic Dimming, a low-blue-light mode and a very low-brightness setting. These features may improve comfort during extended viewing.

The dual-speaker system also supports a high-volume mode. HONOR describes this as “400% Volume,” designed to make calls, navigation and videos easier to hear outdoors.

NFC support is included for compatible contactless services. HONOR Phone Clone also helps users transfer content from an older Android or iPhone.

Practical software features without excessive AI

The HONOR X7e Plus 5G runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16.

A separate side button provides quick access to selected applications and tools. Users can also double-press it to open the camera from the lock screen.

AI Image to Video 2.0 can convert photographs into short videos using prompts and templates. Other tools include AI Eraser, AI Translation, AI Notes and AI Recorder.

However, HONOR says Image to Video 2.0 will arrive through an OTA update. Availability may vary, and continued access could require payment after an introductory trial.

The HONOR X7e Plus 5G is available in Velvet Black, Meteor Silver and Desert Gold.

According to HONOR’s launch announcement, prices start from AED 899. Customers can purchase the smartphone through HONOR’s UAE online store and authorised retailers.
