Toshiba Memory is now KIOXIA. Kioxia now has BiCS Flash Concept , which is a 3D NAND Technology , currently it uses 218 layers and Gen 8 . It’s a 3D vertical flash memory cell structure enabling it to surpass the capacity of mainstream 2D flash memory and enhance the reliability of write/erase endurance while boosting write speeds .
