HONOR-X9e-Pro-UAE-11,000mAh-Battery-and-Rugged-Design
At AED 1,499, the HONOR X9e Pro focuses on battery capacity, drop resistance and a bright display. Here’s what those features could mean for UAE buyers.
HONOR’s new X Series phone puts battery life and durability ahead of a slim design. Here’s what UAE buyers should know about its features, price, support offer and claims.

Most phone launches lead with cameras, processors or design. The HONOR X9e Pro takes a different route: it combines an 11,000mAh battery with a reinforced build and a large, bright display. It is now on sale in the UAE from AED 1,499.
That mix could suit people who spend long days away from a charger, travel often or want more protection against everyday accidents. The specifications still need real-world testing, especially for battery life and camera quality.
A larger battery for longer days
HONOR lists the X9e Pro’s silicon-carbon battery at 11,000mAh typical capacity and 10,510mAh rated capacity. That is about 2,700mAh more than the 8,300mAh battery in the HONOR X9d. The X9e Pro also moves from 66W to 80W wired charging and supports up to 27W wired reverse charging.

HONOR describes the battery as designed to last six years. Its test note says this estimate assumes 1,000 full charge cycles and six hours of screen use per day. It is a lab estimate, not a promise that every battery will retain the same capacity for six years.
The capacity may appeal to people who use navigation, video or mobile data throughout the day. Actual battery life will depend on settings, signal conditions and personal use.
Drop and water protection, with testing caveats
HONOR says the X9e Pro can withstand drops from up to three metres onto a smooth surface. It also lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. The company warns that water and dust resistance can decline with everyday wear.

One detail needs clarification before relying on the phone’s advertised 10-metre water-resistance claim. HONOR promotes that depth on its product page, while a nearby test note describes repeated immersion at 10 centimetres. The material does not clearly explain how the two figures relate. Buyers should ask HONOR for the specific test conditions before treating the 10-metre claim as a practical guide.
A bright 6.8-inch display

The X9e Pro has a 6.8-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. HONOR quotes peak brightness of 10,000 nits, but its footnote says this figure applies when a specific video source plays full-screen. It should not be read as the display’s typical brightness in every app or situation.
The screen size may work well for maps, reading and video. People who prefer compact phones should check the handset’s size in person.
108MP camera and underwater mode

The phone’s main camera has a 108MP sensor, optical image stabilisation and a CIPA 6.0 stabilisation rating. HONOR also highlights AI imaging features and an underwater camera mode. These specifications describe the tools, but they cannot confirm how well the camera handles night shots, moving subjects or digital zoom. That will need independent testing.
UAE price, offers and support
The UAE launch announcement lists the X9e Pro from AED 1,499. It says buyers receive HONOR Choice E6i earbuds valued at AED 149, AED 100 off the HONOR Select Sound Lite4 speaker, six months of damage protection, a 24-month battery guarantee and warranty coverage across the GCC, India, Pakistan and Egypt. It also lists an additional 24-month warranty for existing HONOR X9 series users.
The announcement says buyers will enter a draw for four HONOR Robot Phones, with winners announced in weekly livestreams. However, the published UAE campaign terms list different prizes and state that the campaign ran through 30 October. HONOR’s service-benefits page also displays a different damage-protection period for an earlier offer window. Buyers should confirm the active offer, coverage period and raffle eligibility before purchasing.
The X9e Pro could make sense for buyers who prioritise battery capacity and durability over a compact body. Its headline claims come with test conditions and details worth checking, so the UAE offer and water-resistance information deserve particular attention before purchase.
