Anker plans to bring eufy, soundcore, SOLIX and eufyMake under one global identity. The bigger story is a connected ecosystem built around local AI

Anker used IFA 2026 in Berlin to announce one of the biggest changes in its recent history. The company will gradually bring its main consumer technology brands under the Anker name.
That includes eufy, soundcore, SOLIX and eufyMake. These names will not disappear overnight. Instead, new products will adopt the unified identity first, followed by packaging, digital platforms and retail spaces.
At first glance, this looks like a simple rebranding exercise. However, the decision says much more about Anker’s direction. The company wants consumers to see one connected technology business, rather than several separate product brands.
Why Anker is bringing the brands together
Anker started in 2011 with chargers and power accessories. It later expanded by creating dedicated brands for audio, smart homes, energy and creative tools.

That structure helped each category build its own identity. Soundcore became familiar in audio, while eufy developed a strong position in home security and cleaning.
However, modern consumer technology no longer fits into clean categories. A security camera can use AI, connect with a smart lock and trigger another device. A charging station can monitor battery health through software.
Anker believes one identity will make these links easier to understand. It can also concentrate global marketing and retail investment behind a single name.
The challenge will be protecting the trust already attached to names such as soundcore and eufy. Many consumers recognise those brands without immediately connecting them with Anker.
What changes, and what does not
The transition will take place over several years. Therefore, UAE shoppers should expect old and new branding to appear together for some time.
Anker says existing products, apps, packaging and retail environments will move gradually. Current owners should not assume that their devices or support arrangements will suddenly change.
The company is also organising its portfolio into two broad groups: Anker For You and Anker For Home.
Anker For You
Anker For You covers personal technology, including charging, audio, video, health and creative tools. It is the side of the portfolio most UAE buyers will recognise immediately.
At IFA, Anker highlighted new charging products with smarter power and heat management. The MagGo Power Bank Pro 2 supports 25W Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging and includes an active cooling fan.
Anker claims the cooling system keeps operating temperatures below 36°C. That sounds relevant in the GCC, although real performance needs testing in local summer conditions.
The Laptop Charger Pro takes a software-led approach. According to Anker, it can identify supported laptops, manage charging behaviour and provide battery-health information through a desktop app.
Audio also forms a major part of this group. The company introduced clip-on earbuds, over-ear headphones, sleep products and hearing devices using its THUS AI chip.
Features such as call transcription and meeting summaries show where Anker sees future growth. Audio devices are becoming personal AI tools, not only products for music and calls.
Anker For Home
Anker For Home brings security, cleaning, robotics and home energy into one group. This is where the company’s ecosystem plan becomes more ambitious.
The centrepiece is Anker MindBase, a local AI hub designed to connect devices around the home. It can process supported AI tasks on the device and keep household data stored locally.
This matters because privacy remains a serious concern with connected cameras and sensors. Local processing can reduce cloud dependence, but implementation and security will still need close examination.
Anker presented new security products, a robot vacuum and its first robot lawn mower around this strategy. It also showed the SOLIX Solarbank Max home energy storage system.
Not every product will suit every GCC household. Apartments, villas and local energy rules create different needs. Regional compatibility will matter as much as the international specification sheet.
MindBase is the real strategic announcement
The brand change may attract attention, but MindBase is the more important long-term development. It gives Anker a platform that could connect several parts of its portfolio.

A camera, smart lock and robot vacuum can operate as separate devices today. Anker’s goal is to let them share information and respond as one system.
That puts the company into a broader smart-home competition. Hardware quality will remain important, but software support, privacy, interoperability and long-term updates will become equally important.
For buyers, the key question is simple. Will the ecosystem make everyday use easier, or will it create another closed platform? The answer will depend on compatibility and regional support.
What the change means for UAE and GCC buyers
A single Anker identity could make shopping easier. Consumers may understand more clearly which products belong to the same ecosystem and which apps or services work together.
It could also simplify warranty communication, retail displays and after-sales support. These areas matter in the UAE, where products can arrive through official and parallel-import channels.
However, the transition could create short-term confusion. Buyers may see familiar soundcore or eufy names presented differently across stores, websites and packaging.

Anker should clearly explain product compatibility and regional warranties during this period. A common logo alone will not create a unified customer experience.
Availability is another point to watch. Anker says products unveiled at IFA 2026 should reach GCC markets over the coming months. UAE dates, prices and configurations will be announced separately.
CriticReviewer editorial view
The decision makes strategic sense. Anker is no longer only a charging-accessory company, and its growing portfolio needs a clearer connection between products.
Still, brand consolidation is only the starting point. The real test will be whether apps, devices, warranties and customer support feel unified in daily use.
For UAE consumers, Anker’s heat-management claims and local AI approach deserve attention. Both address genuine regional concerns around temperature, reliability and privacy.
I would also like to see clear regional road maps. Buyers need confirmed UAE pricing, availability, warranty terms and update commitments before choosing a wider ecosystem. IFA 2026 showed Anker’s ambition. The next stage will reveal whether one name can deliver a genuinely connected experience across several very different product categories.
