Fast-Charging Wall Chargers / Power Delivery
USB Power Delivery, or USB PD, is a charging protocol that uses high speed USB-C connectors and cables. Smartphones, tablets, and laptops that are Power Delivery-enabled allow safe, faster charging and more power for larger devices, without the need of a separate power supply. USB PD will charge your smartphone up to 70% faster than standard 5W charging. The USB Power Delivery chipset automatically detects the connected device, whether it’s a small phone or a large laptop. It then delivers the exact power required for fastest possible charging, but not too much which could damage circuitry.
