The operating system of the POCO X3 NFC device, it has the latest Android 10 (Q) with the MIUI 12.0.3 as the user interface. So, with Android 10, the POCO X3 NFC has all the interesting new features like AI beautification, creamy bokeh for portraits, AI recognition up to 500 scenes. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G Octa-Core chipset + GPU – Adreno 618 and Android Q also helps in better for more accurate facial brightness, contrast for selfies on the front cameras, and scene-by-scene optimizations for shots taken on the rear and enhancing the photography effects. The POCO X3 NFC smartphone with the help of AI face recognition for photography and in the video and uses the EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) to provide a stabilized video.
POCO X3 NFC comes with its own POCO Launcher 2.0 which can help you to find and group apps more easily. The UI also features a dark mode, which reduces power consumption and helps to relieve eye strain.
Benchmark Testing
The POCO X3 NFC was tested with various benchmark testing Apps. On the PC Mark benchmark, it scored 8575. On the 3D Mark benchmark, it scored Sling Shot Extreme open GL ES 3.1 – 2074 and Sling Shot Extreme Vulkan – 1979. On the Geek benchmark, it scored 658 on single-core and 2042 on multi-core.

While on benchmark testing the smartphone, the temperature of the body rose to 33°C and the CPU temperature rose to 37°C.
(Please note: Most of the smartphones while reviewing and testing had an average body temperature of 32°C to 37°C)
Sound & Audio
The POCO X3 NFC has a single side speaker grill but when you are holding the smartphone horizontally, you can hear the stereo sound and when you hold the phone vertically, you can still hear stereo but not distinct like the landscape mode.
The trebles, mid-level was clear and bass was good for a smartphone. The volume is quite loud and clear. The device supports Hi-Res audio format and Dolby Atmos too. Especially the Z-Axis linear Motor system due to which you can feel the bass vibration on your fingers and has quite a decent depth in the bass.
The smartphone has Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.

The smartphone comes with a 3.5mm jack output but headphones are not included in the package.
The POCO X3 NFC was tested with various types of videos and different genres of music and it passed above average compared to other competitors in a similar price range.

As the brand has highlighted on the packaging and mentioned as the model with NFC. So, the phone can be used to connect with other NFC smart devices and can be used for digital NFC payment at the grocery, shops, and more. The Poco website mentions Google Pay integrated as part of the MIUI 12.0.3 OS.

The POCO X3 NFC smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the black thin metal frame of the panel which doubles for the power button, face detection, pattern, pin for accessing the smartphone. You can also use to lock certain folders in the smartphone for further protection.
The Smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot. Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE. With App and headphones, you can also connect to FM Radio. The device comes with Penta antennas which are supposed to provide better connectivity.
The smartphone comes with a Non-removable Li-Po 5160 mAh, the battery which can last more than a day+ with heavy usage.
The smartphone comes with a USB Type- C charging input which can charge the phone at 33W: 62% in 30 min. As mentioned by the company, a fully drained phone can be fully charged in 65 mins.
Can the POCO X3 NFC smartphone be a good gaming smartphone?

The POCO X3 NFC is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G Octa-Core chipset and Android 10 with 6GB RAM, 64 GB ROM and with the usage of GPU – Adreno 618 which makes the gaming experience good. On the test run with games like Asphalt 9, the phone had no issues in delivering a smooth, stable gaming experience. With a non-removable Li-Po 5160mAh battery, you can play longer hours to play games and view online entertainment.
With the 120Hz Display and Game Turbo 3.0 and also mentioned by POCO LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus which helps to dissipate heat from the smartphone. And while testing the phone with Asphalt 9, could not feel the back panel heating up compared to many brands and it was a comfortable experience.
Another feature that I enjoyed was the Z-Axis linear Motor system due which you can feel the Accelerating, shooting, and sprinting all have their own unique vibration patterns on hand while playing games.
