LG WEB-OS-OLED TV 65 - LG Menu Apps
Connectivity & WebOS

The LG OLED65GXPVA comes with the latest LG WebOS built-in which makes the operation very easy to access the menu, programs, channels, and setting. It has voice recognition which was one of my favorite functions.

As for the connectivity, you can use the 4 HDMI inputs which also includes eARC/ARC HDMI input. It comes with Satellite IN, Antenna/Cable-In. It has 3 USB Type-A inputs and you can connect to your router via LAN port or wirelessly.

Once you connect, the WebOS will check for software updates and provide the latest apps and LG content page for you to download. The LG Webstore has a various app which you can download and add to your menu bar. When I have received the TV, the Menu Bar already had YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, Amazon Prime, ESPN, and more.

There was one issue which possibly an issue with the review unit software, the TV would automatically switch on voice recognition without actually using the remote and the AI would search for the words spoken by me in the house or even talking on the phone.

One of the funny incidents happened where TV voice recognition switch-on from the line spoken on by the actor on TV “I was looking for David” the TV responded “Searching for David”. It was like the TV AI was continuously on and listening to any words and conversation which was not good from a privacy point of view.
