Audio

The LG OLED65GXPVA has a sleek built-in speaker which are enclosed in the back panel of the television. It comes with a 60W speaker which includes a 20W built-in Sub-woofer. The speakers are designed in down-firing for better effect of sound quality.

Honestly, I didn’t expect a great sound quality as generally, sleeker the TV, chances the sound depth would be hampered but I was impressed with the Trebles, mids, and decent bass of the speaker. Especially in the movie mode when keeping the volume around 60% – 70%, it sounds great. But there is a little sacrifice on the mids (Vocals) as it comes from behind the panel, it sounds a little muffled and, especially on lower volumes. In that case, I use the audio setting on clear vocals which enhanced the mids higher and could hear the dialogues better.

Generally, people who invest in such kind of TV would prefer to add a soundbar to the TV and I used mine (LG SJ4R – Wireless Sound Bar) to the TV and enjoyed my review experience.
