Tozo is a brand which has been providing budget-friendly affordable earbuds with good sound quality. I have already reviewed multiple TOZO earbuds in the past. I received the TOZO Tonal Fits T21 Earbuds for review and have tested it for more than a month.

The TOZO Tonal Fits Earbuds feature a matte and shiny piano finish. LED indicators adorn each earbud. Both the speaker and mic units sport a black mesh design for noise cancellation. Each earbud boasts a 48mAh battery, rechargeable via the carry-case. They pack dual 14.2mm dynamic drivers for a wide frequency range. Expect 6 hours of LDAC sound at 50% volume, extendable to 40 hours with the case. Charging takes about 1.5 hours. They utilize Bluetooth 5.3 with a 10-meter range. These earbuds support AAC and SBC audio formats and are IPX8-rated for water resistance.
IPX8-rated earbuds should be suitable for activities such as swimming or other water-related sports, as they are designed to resist water ingress when submerged in water.

Upon removing the protective plastic, discard the upper sleeve to reveal the box. Inside, find a sleeve housing the quick guide and warranty sticker. Beneath, discover the TOZO Tonal Fits earbuds case covered in translucent protection with black foam. The box includes a USB Type-C cable for charging.
The received TOZO Tonal Fits earbuds are black and pre-charged to 75% to 80%. Connect immediately or charge fully (wired or wirelessly) before connecting to your smartphone. The ABS plastic charging case features a smooth matte black finish, with “TOZO” subtly printed on the top cover. It incorporates a white LED screen displaying the charging levels of the earbuds and case, aiding visibility in the dark.
The flat bottom of the case allows for upright placement. The TOZO T21 earbuds case is compatible with QI Wireless Charging pads, with the USB Type-C port located at the case’s rear.

The earbuds offer a snug fit, eliminating the need for silicone ear tips. TOZO T21 earbuds boast a sleek combination of shiny piano and matte black finishes. The “TOZO” logo in silver adorns the earbud’s stick side, accompanied by a small white LED indicating status.
Featuring Bluetooth 5.3, the TOZO T21 earbuds provide a 10m range, as claimed by the company. Personally testing, I walked up to 11m from the smartphone without music drop, except when obstructed by a wall.
Connecting the TOZO T21 earbuds
Once the charging case is opened and the earbuds are removed, the TOZO T21 device is ready to pair. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone and download the TOZO App from the App Store or Google Play Store. Follow the app’s instructions to connect the earbuds to your smartphone. If connecting to another device, utilize the TOZO app for seamless pairing.

Once paired, the TOZO T21 earbuds are visible in the TOZO App, displaying earbuds and case battery levels on the home screen. The app offers optimization for the best listening experience.
Within the sound effect section, access 16 preset equalizer settings or customize your own. Sample various music types to test the TOZO T21 earbuds.
Monitor earbud battery levels within the app. Access firmware updates in the settings. Customize left and right earbud touch controls or choose from presets.

Audio Quality
The TOZO T21 earbuds underwent extensive testing across various music and movie genres, including Hi-res quality music and movies. As an audiophile, I meticulously evaluated their performance while working on articles, even as I write this review.
The earbuds delivered impeccable sound across the spectrum, from subtle nuances to powerful bass. I could discern intricate details like guitar strings, vocal nuances, and distant sounds of nature. Even in movies, distant sounds were distinct and immersive.
Credit goes to the dual φ 14.2mm dynamic drivers, providing a frequency range from 20Hz to 20,000Hz. While lacking dedicated ANC, the earbuds effectively reduced surrounding noise during calls with dual-mic DNS call noise cancellation, minimizing ambient noise by up to 80%.

Impressed by their sound quality and range, I found the trebles clear, the mids balanced, and the bass deep but not overpowering. They’re suitable for workouts and outdoor activities with their IPX8 rating and 16 preset equalizer settings.
I recommend keeping the smartphone volume at half to prevent potential hearing damage. Let your ears adjust to the sound, prioritizing your long-term hearing health.
