The Review
I got the SoundPeats Air5 Pro for review 3 weeks ago and I used the device daily for 2-3 hours of testing the audio quality, comfort and durability.
Design & Specifications
Charging Case

The SoundPeats Air5 Pro charging case measures approximately ≈ 66.9 × 48.3 × 26.9 mm and weighs 50.3 grams. The charging case comes in a matt black ABS plastic case which has tiny LED light on the front which indicates the battery level of the case. There is a USB Type-C charging port and reset / Bluetooth button on the bottom, which is neatly cased with a grey line around the rim to add design value. The SoundPeats logo is on the backside of the case at the joint of the cover and base. The case comes with a 520 mAh rechargeable battery.
Earbuds

The SoundPeats Air5 Pro earbuds are ergonomically designed for a secure, comfortable fit, measuring ~34.6 × 19.9 × 23.5 mm and weighing just 4.8 grams each. Housed in a glossy black ABS plastic case, they feature 10mm Composite Bio-Diaphragm Drivers (PU + PEEK) that deliver deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. Each earbud displays a copper-finished “S” logo along the stem, which also includes responsive touch controls. Charging pins are located at the bottom of the stem, ensuring efficient power transfer and seamless usability. These design details enhance both aesthetic appeal and everyday functionality.

The earbuds’ design is quite similar to the SoundPeats Air5, which was released last year in 2024, but this one is the Pro version, which has Snapdragon Sound powered by Qualcomm QCC3091 for high-fidelity sound. It supports Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, aptX Lossless Audio, and Bluetooth 5.4 for ultra-stable connections.
The Review
The SoundPeats Air5 Pro – Packaging

The SoundPeats Air5 Pro comes in the SoundPeats style of White packing with earbuds image on the front with the Qualcomm Snapdragon, Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC logo printed. With the SoundPeats “S” logo and Air5 Pro printed in Gold.
On the back, you have the details of the device, which include the certification and licenses printed. On the leftside of the box has the tagline printed “Hear the Difference” and on the right side you have battery time, Noise cancellation and Dynamic Drivers details.
Once you open the box, you will find the SoundPeats Air5 pro on a cardboard sleeve covered in the translucent plastic cover. Below the cardboard sleeve – you will find the compact USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable and an additional 2 pairs of silicone eartips. These are found inside the side paper sleeves well design in the box. There is also a User Manual and a SoundPEATS Sticker.
SoundPeats Air5 Pro – Charging Case
As mentioned above, the charging case comes with 520 mAh battery and when you open for the first time, it already has some battery charge.
(I would recommend all the users, to charge the battery operated products to be fully charged for the first time. This helps to determine the quality of the battery, it also helps to know the exact amount of the usage time and adds better longer battery life.)
The charging case is ergonomically designed with a rounded design. Compared to the predecessor Air4 Pro, the case design has changed to more horizontal wider design but the charging case cannot be placed vertically due to the overall rounded design. This design provides comfort while carrying your pocket. Due to the matte finish, it avoids fingerprint smudges on the case.
The USB Type-C port is well tucked in the bottom side, and you have a reset / Bluetooth connectivity button too. The case opens up vertically, with the open part opening up almost 80% showcasing the earbuds placed inside the case. Once you open the case, you will see the tagline “Hear the Difference” in cursive writing. Just below the tagline and on the bottom part of the cover, there is a multi-colour tiny LED light which helps to indicate the charging, battery case battery life.

The single charging time of the case takes around 2hours mentioned by the brand but I am sure as I recharged it multiple times in between usage of the earbuds.
Overall, the charging case is well design and has premium looks, quality and feels sturdy in the hand. I am not sure about the IP-rating as nothing is mentioned by the brand on their website.
SoundPeats Air5 Pro – Earbuds

The earbuds are similar design to the Soundpeats Air5 but with addition of the eartips which helps to provide much better noise cancellation and blocking the additional surround noise. The earbuds already came with the grey colour silicone tips (M) and there are additional different size of two more pairs (S & L) in the box.

The earbuds comes with 10mm Composite Bio-Diaphragm Driver which uses the Snapdragon Sound powered by Qualcomm QCC3091 chipset for high-fidelity sound. It supports Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, aptX Lossless Audio, and Bluetooth 5.4 for ultra-stable connections.
The earbuds comes with a 35 mAh battery each and takes around 1 hour to fully charge in the charging case. If in urgency, you can charge the earbuds for 10mins in the charging case and get around 2 hours of playtime. You get around 6.5 hours of playtime Overall the playtime is around 37 hours with recharged multiple times.
The SoundPEATS Air5 Pro earbuds have a water resistance rating of IPX5, meaning they can withstand water jets from any direction—ideal for protection against rain or sweat during workouts—though they’re not suitable for full immersion .
Connecting with Peats Audio APP

The process of connecting the SoundPeats Air5 Pro is similar to earlier versions. Connect your smartphone to the device via Bluetooth, then open the Peats Audio App and add the device. You will find the images of the Air5 Pro earbuds with the details of the battery of the earbuds and charging case. You will find the equaliser setting and the ANC setting. The LDAC option has to be switched ON to activate the mode. But it mentioned it will affect the battery life.
Overall, the APP is good but needs improvement, as there are delays between the screens.
SoundPeats Air5 Pro – Audio Quality
As I always do to test the SoundPeats Air5 Pro, I tested the device on various genres of music, which included jazz, rock, pop, electronic, and even Bollywood and Indian classical music. The speaker’s bass, mids, and treble were well-tuned, and I enjoyed the music for long hours. I could hear the low bass rumbles and subtle nuances of string instruments.

Compared to predecessor models, the ANC worked beautifully. The surrounding sound was significantly subdued. The comfort of the earbuds was excellent. As the earbuds weigh only 4.8 grams each, the weight on the ear feels negligible. I have used the earbuds while working and while lying in bed, listening to my favourite music. There was no discomfort or uneasiness while wearing it for an extended period.

The earbuds’ touch features have some issues and are not very responsive. The volume increase and reduction via touching the left and right earbuds worked fine, but other functions, like previous and next music tracks, were not responding. The long hold for Google Assistant worked fine.
As for the calls and video calls, the quality of the vocals was crisp and clear. The distance from the smartphone while taking calls was excellent, and I could walk up to 10 meters in a straight line and around 6-7 meters in other rooms with two walls as interference.
Price and Availability

The SoundPeats Air5 Pro is available in black for $51.99 on the SoundPeats website. It is also available on Amazon.ae for the price of AED279. You can check other e-commerce websites according to your region.
Conclusion
Overall, the SoundPeats Air5 Pro earbuds have been excellent for music listeners, with quality speakers and adequate battery life on a single charge. The ANC worked beautifully, providing a noiseless environment while listening to music.

As I have reviewed many earbuds in the past and more expensive than Air5 Pro, it is an excellent buy for its price. It’s the perfect blend of style, performance, and smart functionality—ideal for modern, on-the-go users. For the price and quality of sound
