The Review

I have received EERO 6 Mesh Router from the PR agency for review. The unit came in a brown sustainable material box with a white label sticker and one black colour print. On opening the box, the EERO 6 Mesh Router is placed in the black box. Below the router, you will find a white cover; below the cover, you will find the G-type plug with the attached cable with the Type-C charging pin.

In the box, you will also find another black box which contains an Ethernet cable, quick start guide and warranty card.
The installation process is quite simple. Just connect the EERO 6 Mesh Router with a power source with the provided cable and connect with the Ethernet cable with the wall Ethernet port.

Download the eero app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You can log in with your existing amazon account or create a new account.
Once EERO 6 Mesh Router switches ON, the LED light starts blinking Blue Light, indicating it is ready for pairing. Then log in to your account, create the router name and password, and follow the procedure mentioned on the EERO App on your smartphone.
Once the EERO 6 Mesh Router is connected, choose the room where are you ready to place the router. The app will also suggest updating the software which will take around a few minutes.
Once the router is ready, connect your devices to the new EERO mesh Wi-Fi 6 router.
The company mentions that EERO 6 Mesh Router covers an area of 140 m² as noted on the website. The router has covered my entire flat including the washroom. To check the range of the router. I took my smartphone outside the house to the lift and still had min two levels of Wi-Fi bars on the smartphone. As this is a mesh router, the Wi-Fi range passes through the walls, here in my case, the Wi-Fi range had passed through at least 4 walls.
To test the EERO 6 Mesh Router’s Wi-Fi 6, I used the Huawei MateBook D 16 notebook which has a built-in Wi-Fi6 network adapter.

First, I used my regular Wi-Fi 5 AC router with the new Notebook via Speed test and got a 21.04mbps download speed and 7.13mbps upload speed.

Then I used the EERO mesh Wi-Fi 6 router (AX1800 Speed) with the new Notebook via speed test and got a 36.35mbps download speed and 8.66mbps upload speed.
Conclusion

The EERO mesh Wi-Fi 6 router is a small, sleek and lightweight router and has quite a large and fast Wi-Fi range. The EERO is a mesh router which can connect with multiple EERO extendable mesh routers that would cover a very large area with Wi-Fi 6 range. While testing the Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 routers could find the EERO mesh Wi-Fi 6 router (AX1800 speed) quite faster compared to the Wi-Fi 5 router. The EERO App was easy to install on the smartphone and the procedure was easy to follow and connect with all the devices.

But there are small issues I faced while backward compatibility with older smartphones that don’t support Wi-Fi 6. The phone connected but there were issues connecting with some apps and the download speed was slower maybe it must be my Huawei P30 Pro phone issue. I didn’t face the same issue with my ASUS laptop which also has Wi-Fi 5 AC network adapter.

Overall, the EERO mesh Wi-Fi 6 router is a great product for consumers who are looking for a lightweight, compact, mesh router with Wi-Fi 6 frequency range and can add additional EERO mesh extendable routers to the network.
EERO mesh Wi-Fi 6 router comes in a white piano finish and is available on Amazon for the price of AED 374
