Novo Cinemas unveiled its state-of-the-art flagship location at IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai. Bolstering through the region with their largest IMAX® with Laser cinema in Dubai, featuring next-generation Laser technology – Novo’s ultra-modern multiplex comes complete with a stunning ‘cosmic’ aesthetic and boldly represents the next generation of cinema in the region.
In true Novo style the screen opened with an outpouring of love on Valentine’s Day, Thursday 14th February 2019, showcasing escapism in its greatest form. The complex boasts a 12-screen multiplex which has been designed to immerse customers into an otherworldly reality. The venue stands for a futuristic design using more than 5,000 meters of LED strip lighting in customized colours and mirror lighting from floor to ceiling, an Instagrammable dream for social media followers.
The lobby itself is worth the visit but the true cinephiles will come for the IMAX® with Laser experience, and the choice of three VIP screens with Novo’s famous 7-Star service; a private lounge with dedicated fine dining menu and personal butler service, plus fully reclining leather seats combined with pillow and blanket amenities kit completes the premium offering, making the experience a home-from-home luxury treat.
Measuring 24.4m wide and 13.8m high with a seating capacity for 360 guests, the biggest IMAX® with Laser cinema in Dubai is a sight to behold and will take any film screening to new heights. Moreover, the newest Novo Cinemas location offers multi-purpose cinema screens available with presentation stage, making it the perfect space to hold corporate events and meetings.
IMAX® with Laser delivers stunning images and powerful, immersive audio to transport audiences into blockbuster films like never before. The experience is set apart by its next-generation 4K laser projection system which features a new optical engine and a suite of proprietary IMAX® with Laser technologies that deliver increased resolution, sharper and brighter images, deeper contrast as well as the most distinct, exotic colours ever available on-screen.
The new experience also features IMAX® with Laser’s 12-channel sound technology with new side and overhead channels that deliver a greater dynamic range and precision for the ultimate in audio immersion.
