LG Insta Door in Door Refrigerator
LG Electronic had released the LG InstaView™ Door-in-Door® refrigerators in January 2018 for UAE market.
The unique features of the LG InstaView™ Door-in-Door® refrigerators the Knock Knock feature and connect with Smart ThinQ app by which the Refrigerator can be controlled via mobile phone from any part of the world. So while you are traveling you can make sure your refrigerator is working and you control the food life stored inside the fridge with changing the temperature and also suggest certain functions before you arrive back home.
It is usually human habit to open and see and then decide what do you want from the refrigerator which leads to wastage of cooling from the fridge. With the Knock Knock feature, you can save 41% energy wastage by looking into the refrigerator via lighted glass panel before you open it. With a double knock on the glass panel, the refrigerator inside lights up and you can see the food items and you decide and then open the fridge section.
Another feature which impressed me was the option to have cold water or ice cubes or crushed ice without opening the refrigerator door. On the left side of the door, there is an area to place your glass or cup and press of a button you can have any of the above options. The only thing you have to fill water in the removal tank which can hold 4 liters of water at a time and in half an hour you can get ice.
There are additional compartments which can help the consumer to segregate the food items as per their choice. Like there are two compartments specifically for vegetable which allows the excess water from the vegetables to evapourate which help to maintain the moisture and freshness of the vegetables.
LG InstaView™ Door-in-Door® refrigerator comes with Hygiene Fresh Plus filter which is layers of filters which includes Hypa filters, fan and UV Light which kills the bacteria from the refrigerator and making the food content longer life.
LG InstaView™ Door-in-Door® refrigerator is a 720 liters capacity, Stainsteel body refrigerator with a dimension of 912 x 1757 x 924 (mm) nice grey metallic colored fridge (the one I saw in Dubai Mall), has classy looks but is little steep on the price but with features and style, there are customers who would like to have one in their house.
