Huawei Consumer Business Group announced the start of a new Device Upgrade Premium service benefiting its midrange and entry-level smartphone users in the UAE, which aims to provide consumers with more reasonable service solutions and improve post-sale service satisfaction.
The newly introduced service allows easy turn of old or broken smartphones such as HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019, HUAWEI nova 3i, and HUAWEI Y9 2019 for a 15% discount from the market price toward the next smartphone upgrade (HUAWEI nova 8i, HUAWEI Y9A). No matter the condition, the consumers can benefit from this service and turn it into something good for themselves and the planet, as Huawei will take care of eco-friendly recycling of old/broken devices.
What is Device Upgrade Service?
To provide you with a fresh experience of HUAWEI devices at a lower price, HUAWEI UAE launched Device Upgrade Service. You can get a brand-new device only with a small charge when requesting repair service for your faulty devices.

This service is only applicable from September 5 2022 till December 31 2022.

You can visit the Dubai Multiple Service Center (MSC) or all Axiom Walk-in Service Centers to participate in this service.

Limitations and Conditions
Number-of-times Limit
There is no number-of-times limit for participating in this campaign, but you can only submit a request once for each old device (Subject to the serial number).
Participation Conditions
No matter your phone is old non-faulty or completely damaged, you can upgrade the device if:
- The old device is a genuine one regardless of which country you bought it from.
- All the parts in the old device must be the original HUAWEI parts, any device with parts changed or replaced in any unauthorized HUAWEI Customer Service Center will be rejected.
- The old device cannot lack any spare parts, such as cameras and screens (excluding accessory chargers).
- The device cannot be an assembly device or a knockoff device.
- HUAWEI will provide a 12-month warranty for the new device and a 6-month warranty for packaged accessories.
- Refund is not supported for new devices. However, they can be replaced within the first 14 days only caused of manufacturing issues.

Instructions for Participating in the Service
- Submit your old device to us by visiting HUAWEI MSC directly.
- We will evaluate your old device, if it is applicable, then you will be required to only pay a corresponding amount of money (Check the Charging Standard).
