Smart Video Search stands among Ring’s most advanced AI-driven features today. Powered by Ring IQ, it combines Ring’s AI technology with in-house skills. It uses Visual Language Modelling to match text queries with video footage.
Instead of scrolling through hours of recordings, users can type questions directly into the Ring app. Queries like when a package arrived or what time children returned home now deliver instant, precise results.
The feature allows users to search for specific moments linked to family activity, pets, home movement, or personal routines. This approach transforms home monitoring into a faster, more intuitive experience.
