Testing the Cameras
The OPPO Reno14 F (5G) comes with 50MP; f/1.8; FOV 79°; 5P lens; AF supported; 2-axis OIS supported. It has Ultra-wide angle: 8MP; f/2.2; FOV 112°; 5P lens and Macro: 2MP; f/2.4; FOV 89°; 3P lens. And the front camera 32MP, f/2.0, FOV 90°, 5P lens; AF supported.
Main Camera
While testing the main camera, the response of the focusing and colour vibrancy was excellent. The Colour Calibration, with the help of AI, the colour representation is rich and vibrant, and worked beautifully. The OPPO Reno14 F (5G) boasts a standout 50 MP Sony main sensor (f/1.8) paired with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), capturing crisp, low-light and fast-action shots with vibrancy and clarity.
The wide-angle lens projects a generous 79° field of view, ensuring immersive compositions rich in detail. In low-light settings, the dual-flash system significantly amplifies brightness—up to double the output—delivering three-dimensional lighting with true-to-life skin tones.
For a wider perspective, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2, 112°) lets you capture landscapes, architecture, and group moments with ease. There’s also a 2 MP macro lens (f/2.4)—simple but effective for close-up texture shots. Feature-rich capture modes include Photo, Portrait, Night, Panorama, Hi-Res, Dual-View video, Time-Lapse, and Pro mode for fine tuning.
Overall, the camera setup is sophisticated, combining hardware excellence with intelligent software enhancements to deliver versatile, high-quality imaging. Under very low conditions, the camera performed average as there was quite a large amount of noise in the image. In the daylight, the images were excellent and had a good balance of saturation, brightness and colour vibrancies
