OPPO-Reno15-Series-Launches-in-the-UAE-at-Ain-Dubai
Introduction
On 21st January 2026, I attended OPPO’s Reno15 Series launch event in Dubai, hosted at the stunning Ain Dubai landmark. The venue aligned with OPPO’s creative vision, with lighting, visuals, and product zones designed around photography, AI, and content creation. OPPO introduced three models: Reno15 Pro 5G, Reno15 5G, and Reno15 F 5G. The company positioned the lineup as an AI-powered creative partner for modern smartphone users in the UAE. I was carrying the OPPO Reno15 (5G). This phone was given to me for review. I carried it with me for the launch event. I also clicked some pictures with my review unit.
Every Side Seen: OPPO’s Creative Direction

OPPO built the Reno15 Series around its “Every Side Seen” philosophy. The goal is simple. Help users capture people, places, and moments from every angle with consistent quality. This idea was demonstrated clearly through live camera demos and hands-on sessions at the venue.
A New Standard for Selfie and Portrait Photography

The highlight feature is the new 50MP Ultra Wide Selfie Camera. It offers a 100-degree field of view, which easily fits groups, architecture, and city scenes into one frame. During the demo, I noticed how natural the image distortion control looked, even near the edges.

Content creators will appreciate the depth effect, especially when recording travel or reaction videos. Portrait photography also received major upgrades. The Reno15 Pro 5G and Reno15 5G include a 50MP telephoto portrait camera with an 85mm equivalent focal length.
This setup delivers realistic face proportions and smooth background separation. The Reno15 Pro 5G goes further with a 200MP ultra-clear main camera. It captures sharp details and allows heavy cropping without losing clarity.
Lay Ren, President of OPPO MENA said

“The launch of the Reno15 Series in the GCC marks another important step in OPPO’s long-term commitment to the region and its creative community. Over the years, the Reno Series has been warmly embraced by local users for its strength in portrait photography, reflecting a deep understanding of how people here capture themselves, their families, and meaningful everyday moments.”
AI Imaging That Feels Practical
OPPO introduced its new Reno Portrait Engine and improved skin tone algorithms. Faces look natural, not over-smoothed or artificial. AI Flash Photography 2.0 uses dual rear flashes to soften shadows in low light.

The front-screen flash provides balanced lighting for night selfies. Creative tools were another strong focus. AI Portrait Glow improves lighting in difficult environments. The Popout feature allows layered photo compositions with depth.
AI Motion Photo Eraser removes unwanted objects from videos with one tap. For video creators, the phones support 4K HDR Ultra-Steady recording and Dual-View Video mode. This allows recording with both the front and rear cameras at the same time.
ColorOS 16 Brings Long-Term Performance

The Reno15 Series runs on the latest ColorOS 16. OPPO showcased its new Trinity Engine, designed to efficiently manage performance and power. It also received 6-Year Fluency Protection certification. This promises stable performance even after years of daily use.
Animations felt smooth during hands-on testing, helped by the new Luminous Rendering Engine. OPPO also introduced several AI productivity features. AI Mind Space stores content across apps using a three-finger gesture. AI Translate, AI Recording, and AI Call Assistant aim to simplify everyday tasks. OPPO confirmed that all AI features use its Private Computing Cloud for data protection.
Design Inspired by the Aurora
The Reno15 Series continues OPPO’s clean design language from the Reno14 generation. This time, the phones draw inspiration from the colours of the aurora. The back panel uses sculpted glass with a Dynamic Stellar Ring camera design. The Reno15 Pro 5G features a compact 6.32-inch display.
The Reno15 5G and Reno15 F 5G feature 6.59-inch and 6.57-inch 120Hz displays, respectively. All models offer IP66, IP68, and IP69 water- and dust-resistance ratings. Splash Touch keeps the screen responsive even with wet fingers.
Gaming and Connectivity Improvements

The Reno15 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. It supports stable 120fps gaming with AI HyperBoost 2.0 temperature control. OPPO also upgraded network performance using AI LinkBoost 3.0. Pro models include a SignalBoost Chip X1. This reduces gaming latency by up to 84%.
OPPO Introduces Ollie for the Middle East

OPPO also unveiled its Creation Ambassador, named Ollie. The Bedouin-themed character was created specifically for the Middle East. OPPO described Ollie as a symbol of creativity rooted in local culture. It reflects the brand’s intention to build emotional connections in the region.
