Lynk-&-Co-Launches-in-the-UAE-with-a-Lifestyle-Driven-Automotive-Experience-at-Dubai-Autodrome
Experiencing Lynk & Co’s UAE Entry Firsthand
Last week, I attended the LYNK & Co automobile launch event with Galadari Brothers at Dubai Autodrome. It felt unlike a conventional automotive debut. Instead of static displays, the brand invited us directly into a performance-driven, lifestyle-led experience.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that LYNK & Co wanted to communicate identity through action. The event blended motorsport energy, design storytelling, and community engagement into a single immersive environment.
Understanding Lynk & Co as a Brand, Not Just a Carmaker
During the event, I gained a clear understanding of who LYNK & Co is and what it shows. Founded in October 2016, the brand positions itself as a global premium automotive company with a different mindset. After opening Showrooms in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar, LYNK & Co. opened its 1st showroom in the UAE, with Galadari Brothers as its distributor. This was LYNK & Co’s first launch event, introducing their full range of vehicles for the UAE market.

From my interactions, the brand is clearly targeting urban, design-conscious, digitally connected users. LYNK & Co has a design team based in Sweden. They deliver high-value products by combining European design, advanced technology, and modern manufacturing.
The brand’s philosophy, “Born Global, Open and Connected,” was consistently reflected throughout the experience.
A Launch Event Built Around Real Driving Experiences
What stood out instantly was the decision to host the launch on a professional racing circuit.
I had the chance to drive on the Dubai Autodrome track. This allowed me to experience LYNK & Co vehicles in real driving conditions.

This approach transformed the launch into something far more engaging and authentic. It allowed me to connect with the brand through performance rather than presentations.
The focus on precision, speed, and control reinforced LYNK & Co’s confidence in its engineering. It felt like a statement that the products speak for themselves.
Motorsport DNA on show with World-Class Drivers
One of the highlights for me was seeing LYNK & Co’s motorsport heritage come alive on track. World Touring Car Champion Yann Ehrlacher was there alongside two other racing champions.
They demonstrated the LYNK & Co 03+ at high speed, showcasing its dynamic balance and stability. This live demonstration reinforced the brand’s strong connection to professional motorsport.
Watching the 03+ pushed on a race circuit added credibility that static displays simply can’t offer. It clearly positioned LYNK & Co as a performance-capable premium brand.
European Design Philosophy Explained Firsthand
During the event, I attended design presentations led by LYNK & Co’s European design leadership. Simon Lamarre and Ola Ingvarsson shared insights into the brand’s creative and design philosophy.

They explained how LYNK & Co balances bold visual expression with functional simplicity. The approach blends clean European design language with Eastern philosophy.
What impressed me was the emphasis on intuitive interiors and user-centric ergonomics. Design, for LYNK & Co, goes beyond aesthetics and focuses on everyday usability and emotional connection.
Exploring the LYNK & Co Lineup in the UAE
At the venue, I explored the full LYNK & Co. lineup available in the UAE. The exhibition included the 01, 03, 03+, 05, 06, and the larger 09.
Each model reflected the brand’s consistent design identity and technology-driven approach. The range demonstrated flexibility across performance, comfort, and daily practicality.
From compact urban options to performance-oriented models, the lineup felt well-positioned for regional preferences. It reinforced LYNK & Co’s intent to be premium yet approachable.
First Look at the LYNK & Co 900 Flagship SUV

During the press conference, the Galadari Brothers’ team and LYNK & Co. introduced the brand. They also presented the lineup of the cars with detailed specifications. But, one of the most anticipated moments was the exclusive preview of the LYNK & Co. 900. The full-size flagship SUV was revealed as a future-looking model designed for the Middle East.
The brand highlighted improvements in thermal management and air-conditioning efficiency for extreme climates. Although not officially launched, the 900 signals LYNK & Co’s long-term regional commitment. Seeing it in person provided a clear glimpse into the brand’s future direction. It combines scale, comfort, and innovation in a way that suits local expectations.
My Take on LYNK & Co Entry into the UAE Market
After attending the event, it is clear that LYNK & Co is not entering the UAE quietly. The brand is positioning itself around experience, performance, and community connection.

Rather than focusing only on vehicles, LYNK & Co is redefining how users interact with mobility. Its vision of “Changing Mobility Forever” feels intentional rather than aspirational.
This launch marks only the beginning of LYNK & Co’s journey in the UAE. From what I experienced, the brand is here to challenge conventions, not follow them.
