At an event in the Fridge at Al Serkal Avenue in Dubai UAE, HMD Global’s launched Nokia 7.2 & Nokia 6.2 Smartphones and feature phones – Nokia 800 Tough, Nokia 2720 Flip and 110.
The Nokia 7.2 Smartphone
HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, today announces the Nokia 7.2, the first Nokia smartphone to combine a triple camera and PureDisplay. Nokia 7.2 features a powerful 48MP triple camera with Quad Pixel technology and ZEISS Optics. Nokia 7.2 also premiers a range of ZEISS bokeh styles, exclusive to Nokia smartphones, that recreate the way legendary ZEISS lenses produce high visual impact and signature blur. Alongside even more AI-powered features such as night mode, fans can get even more creative with their stories. Building on the strengths of its predecessor, Nokia 7.2 combines stunning PureDisplay technology and always-on HDR, with timeless Nordic design to redefine what fans should expect from this smartphone segment.

Nokia 7.2 introduces three new and exclusive ZEISS bokeh styles. The smartphones come with AI-powered front camera, consisting of a 20MP camera with ZEISS optics.

As part of the Android One partnership, Nokia 7.2 is Android 10 ready and will receive guaranteed monthly security updates for three years and OS updates for two years. Enjoy the latest features such as AI-assisted adaptive battery, App actions and many more with Android 9 Pie.
The Nokia 7.2 comes with a dedicated Google Assistant Button that you can press to quickly access your favourite assistant. You can also enjoy the Google Assistant’s new Ambient Mode, which provides an always-on-display when your device is charging.

Nokia 6.2 Smartphone
At the launch, the team also showcased the Nokia 6.2, which also comes with PureDisplay and advanced triple camera setup powered by AI experiences.
This the first series 6 Nokia smartphone to premiere a triple camera and PureDisplay technology. The Nokia 6.2 brings always-on HDR to a new smartphone segment and with featuring PureDisplay technology powered by a dedicated visual processor that delivers up to one billion shades of colour. With a combination of AI-features and a powerful triple sensor camera, the Nokia 6.2 lets fans take detailed photos, bokeh portraits and stunning wide-angle shots that capture more. And with its signature two-day battery life, fans will be able to do more of what they like without any battery anxiety.
The Nokia 6.2 is quite similar to Nokia 7.2 in the design and quality finish of the product. But off course there is some difference which makes them different from each other. The Nokia 6.2 powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 636 chipset and comes with 2 variants: 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM. It comes with Main camera: 16MP f/1.8 + 5MP depth + 8MP f/2.2 Wide-angle (118 degree), Flash: LED and Front: 8MP f/2

Nokia 800 Tough (Feature Phone)
The Nokia 800 Tough is the first rugged Nokia phone from HMD Global. Not only is the Nokia 800 Tough water and dustproof, but it is also protected against drops and has been designed to withstand extreme temperatures, making it an ideal companion for demanding worksites or adventurous travels. It also brings the latest features fans would expect in a modern phone, packing in The Google Assistant, popular apps like WhatsApp and Facebook, 4G connectivity and more.
At the launch, the HMD Global team also focussed and showcased the power of feature phone and the core strength of the Nokia 800 tough phone with dropping the phone in water and also throwing around the phone showcasing the toughness and durability by dropping on the floor. Nokia 800 Tough is targetted towards people who would like to carry simple long battery life secondary phone while not getting worried about connectivity in any kind of situation of an adventurous life.
Nokia 2720 Flip
There was also the Nokia 2720 Flip showcased and making the audience nostalgic about the Flip phone but new additional features as for secondary phone. It has Whatapps and facebook lite and also the big tactile buttons which are easy to use. it is simple 1500mAh battery phone targetted for people who like to carry as secondary phone or with basic communication while travelling or in an emergency.
And with the Google Assistant just a button-push away, fans can get more done with just their voice. In case the unexpected happens, the Nokia 2720 Flip comes with an emergency button as well as an ICE (In Case of Emergency) information menu.
Nokia 110
A brand-new addition to the feature phone range, the Nokia 110 comes with everything you need to be entertained on the go; an MP3 player for your music collection, built-in camera and an FM radio. The Nokia 110 also comes with favourite games, like the classic Snake, and a battery that lets you talk from sunrise to sunset on a single charge. The Nokia 110 builds on the successful Nokia 105 formula by adding a camera, music and games to deliver more entertainment at a very similar price point.
Pricing and Availability
- The Nokia 7.2 comes in Cyan Green, Charcoal and Ice, and is available in the UAE at a retail price starting from AED 999.
- The Nokia 6.2 comes in Ceramic Black and Ice and will be available in the UAE from 10th October at a retail price starting from AED 799.
- The Nokia 800 Tough comes in Black Steel and Desert Sand and will be available in the UAE from 31st October at a retail price of AED 399.
- The Nokia 2720 Flip comes in Ocean Blue, Black and Pink, and is available in the UAE at a retail price of AED 299.
- The Nokia 110 will be available in Ocean Blue, Black and Pink in the UAE from 3rd October at a retail price of AED 76.5.
