Tozo Golden X1 – Charging case

The Tozo’s Golden X1 which we received is black colour. The earbuds and charging case come with 75% to 80% battery charge. So you can connect the device as soon as you remove it from the box. But personally, I would suggest first charging the device fully (wired or wireless) before you connect with your smartphone.

The charging case is made out of ABS plastic and comes with a matt black smooth finish. The cover of the case has the “TOZO” logo embossed in gold on the cover. On the inside of the cover you have the “Knowles LDAC” logo and the “Hi-Res Audio Wireless” Logo embossed. The charging case comes with an LED screen which displays the charging level of the earbuds and charging case.

Its LED lights also change colour to indicate the level of charge left on the earbuds and charging case. Between the earbuds in the charging case, there is a button to reset the device or can be used for pairing 1st time or adding an additional second pairing of the device. There is an LED white light on the outside of the cover which indicates the charging case battery life and also helps you to open the case and close the case in the dark.

The Tozo charging case base part is well built but the cover feels a little flimsy and manufacturing could have been better. When you open the charging case the cover doesn’t stay upright easily and could close with a little jerk and the case cover is a little wobbly at the hinges. But otherwise, feature-wise the case is excellent.

The earbud’s design is great and fits perfectly and especially with provided 6 different sizes of silicone ear tips. The Tozo earbuds come in a shiny matt finish with the “Tozo” logo in gold embossed on the earbuds.
This is my 1st time reviewing a Bluetooth 5.3 version of earbuds. The company say the Bluetooth range is 10m from the device. I have worn the earbuds and walked far away up to 7m from the smartphone (source of music) and there were no issues with drop-in music. Even though I was wearing it in the washroom where I had 2 walls in between the source and earbuds, it functioned with no issues.

Audio Quality

I tested the Tozo’s Golden X1 for hours on different genres of music from Country, Jazz, Rock, R&B, Soul, Metal, Lounge, Techno, House, Hindi Classical and Hindi Bollywood. The test was done with the Hi-res quality 24bit 96kHz and 320kps Mp3 music and also watched multiple movies.
As I am quite picky about music and devices as I am also an audiophile listener. I made sure I tested for hours while working on my articles as I am doing right now using the device while writing this review too.
From small nooks and trebles to the perfect rumbling sound of the bass, it sounded perfect and I could feel the different ranges of audio equipment used in the song that is from guitar to snares, string pulls, vocal breathing and distance chirping of birds in the lounge music. Even while watching movies, I could hear the long-distance boom and distance crackling of fire sound.

This could be possible with dual φ 12mm dynamic drivers (carbon nanotube diaphragm dynamic driver). The earbuds featured an Armature driver (Knowles) which can produce 44.1 kHz which is higher than the 20kHz that humans can hear. With 12mm high Amplitude Dynamic Drivers it is capable of delivering 12Hz frequency bass and even below the 20Hz that humans can hear. The earbuds come with premium sound via ORIGX Pro which is designed for audiophile listeners. Which emphasizes a wide sound stage with high-frequency clarity to bring a specific sound curve to a variety of listening preferences.

The Tozo’s Golden X1 comes in a black Matt finish box with golden embossed text. It contains earbuds, a charging case, Six sizes of ear silicone ear tips, a wireless charging case, a USB Type-C charging cable, a Quick Start guide (including safety information) and a Warranty card.

Conclusion

I would recommend Tozo’s Golden X1 Earbuds to everyone who loves music and would like to own comfortable pair of earbuds with a great range of sound quality. I would recommend users who buy this device use the right comfortable ear tips as per their ear design. Listen to music on flat equalizer mode, then do the ear test from the Tozo app and you will feel the difference in the quality of the sound frequencies as it will increase or reduce to your ear setting.
The earbuds support LDAC (24-bit) audio with ANC with Bluetooth 5.3. The earbuds come with additional 6 pairs of silicone ear tips.

The earbuds were excellent and was impressed with the sound quality and range of the sound. The Trebles were crisp and clear, Mid’s frequency level was tremendous and the bass level is deep and quite low. And importantly, it was not over basses which could hurt my ear drum.
The earbuds are IPX6 rated and come with 6 different sizes of ear tips that can be used for workouts and outdoor activities – 5 preset and 1 customizable noise cancellation setting.
