We received the Tozo Crystal Buds Earbuds and W1 Wireless Chargers for review. This is 2nd lot of products from Tozo for review.
Tozo is a Seattle (USA) based company that is committed to the research, development and manufacture of high-tech digital products. Including wireless audio, smart IOT, virtual reality, and digital accessories. Many of the Tozo products are made in China including Golden X1 earbuds and Tozo Crystal Buds Earbuds.
Tozo introduced the High-Res TWS Product Line, X series at CES 2023 which included the Golden X1 earbuds.

The TOZO marketing team has sent me the Crystal Buds earbuds for review. I have used the device for more than 2 weeks and use it daily for at least 1-2 hours and sometimes for 4 hours.
TOZO Crystal Buds Earbuds
Design & Specification
TOZO Crystal Buds Earbuds comes with a dimension of 4.41 x 3.58 x 1.57 inches and weighs around 109.71 grams. The TOZO Crystal Buds earbuds case comes with a 470 mAh battery and can provide around 8 hours of Music play and 5 hours of Calling time. TOZO Crystal Buds can be charged wirelessly and each earbud comes with a 50mAh built-in battery.
The TOZO Crystal Buds come with dual φ 6mm dynamic drivers which work from 20Hz Bass even below the 20 kHz frequency response range. This is possible with ORIGX 2.0 technology. As for the connectivity, it works with the latest Bluetooth 5.3 and simultaneous Bluetooth connection with dual devices. The earbuds work with smartphones running EMUI10 or above. The TOZO Crystal Buds are IPX8 rated, so it is splash resistant during normal use which means, the earbuds will not get damaged with sweat or some splash of water but cannot be used underwater or submerged in water. The earbuds support AAC and SBC audio formats.
The Review – TOZO Crystal Buds Earbuds
Once you remove the protective plastic from the box, the upper sleeve can be removed to reveal the box. On opening the box, you will find the TOZO Crystal Buds earbuds and in the box comes with the quick guide and warranty card. The box comes with six pairs of ear tips (XS/S/M/L/XL/XXL). The box also contains a USB Type-C cable for charging.
TOZO Crystal Buds – Charging Case
The TOZO Crystal Buds that we received is the black colour. The earbuds and charging case come with 75% to 80% battery charge. So you can connect the device as soon as you remove it from the box. Personally, I would suggest first to charge the device fully (wired or wireless) before you connect with your smartphone.
TOZO Crystal Buds – Body
The charging case is made out of ABS plastic and comes with a shiny piano black smooth finish. The cover of the case is transparent. The transparent cover has a small “TOZO” logo on the opening of the cover. The charging case comes with a B&W LED screen which displays the charging level of the earbuds and charging case. There is an LED white light on the outside of the cover which indicates the charging case battery life and also helps you to open the case and close the case in the dark. The charging case comes with a 470mAh battery which can last up to 40 hours of the earbuds on a single charge.
The TOZO Crystal Buds charging case base part is well built but the transparent cover feels sturdy and good. The charging case has a rounded bottom and a USB Type-C charging port. The charging case took wired charging 30% in 43mins to 100%. The TOZO Crystal Buds can be charged with a QI Wireless Charging pad.
TOZO Crystal Buds – Earbuds
The earbud’s design is great and fits perfectly, especially with the different sizes of the silicone ear tips. The TOZO Crystal Buds earbuds come in a shiny piano finish with the “TOZO” logo in silver printed on the earbuds. The earbuds come with a very small multi-colour LED Light which indicates the status of the earbuds.
TOZO Crystal Buds comes with Bluetooth 5.3 version of earbuds. The company say the Bluetooth range is 10m from the device. I have worn the earbuds and walked far away up to 15m from the smartphone (source of music) and there were no issues of drop in music. There was only a drop when I moved away behind the wall.
Connecting the TOZO Crystal Buds
The TOZO Crystal Buds device can be connected instantly by bringing the earbuds in the charging case near the smartphone which has an NFC switch on and a pop-up on the screen you will find the request of the earbuds to pair with your smartphone. If this doesn’t work, then you can download the TOZO App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Just follow the procedure to download the App and connect the TOZO Crystal Buds to the smartphone. If you are planning to connect the TOZO Crystal Buds to another device, you can do a long press on the button which present on the side of the charging case allowing it to be ready for pairing to another device or you can use the Tozo app to connect.
Using with Tozo App
The TOZO Crystal Buds earbuds once paired show up in the Tozo App too. On the home screen, you find the details of the earbuds and case battery level. Optimize the best hearing and use of the TOZO Crystal Buds.
You can choose a different level of noise cancellations, it comes with 5 preset and customizable settings as per your choice.
Under the sound effect, you have 16 presets of equalizer setting and you can also set your choice of equalizer setting. The app also comes with samples of different types of music to test and listen to the TOZO Crystal Buds. Under “MyTozo” you can create your account and communicate with the Tozo team for advice or issues with the Tozo products and update the firmware if there is any update.
Audio Quality – TOZO Crystal Buds
The TOZO Crystal Buds was tested for hours on different genres of music from Country, Jazz, Rock, R&B, Soul, Metal, Lounge, techno, House, Hindi Classical and Hindi Bollywood. The test was done with the Hi-res quality 24bit 96kHz and 320kps Mp3 music and also watched multiple movies.
As I am quite picky about music and devices as I am also an audiophile listener. I made sure I tested for hours while working on my articles as I am doing right now using the device while writing this review too.
From small nooks and trebles to the perfect rumbling sound of the bass, it sounded perfect and I could feel the different ranges of audio equipment used in the song that is from guitar to snares, string pulls, vocal breathing and distance chirping of birds in the lounge music. Even while watching movies, I could hear the long-distance boom and distance crackling of fire sound.
This could be possible with dual φ 6mm dynamic drivers. Dynamic Drivers which is capable of delivering 20Hz frequency bass and treble 20 kHz. The earbuds come with premium sound via ORIGX Pro which is designed for audiophile listeners.
TOZO Crystal Buds _ Packaging
The TOZO Crystal Buds box is a White paper box with silver embossed text and a logo with a grayscale printed image of the TOZO Crystal Buds with “True Wireless Stereo” on the box. The backside of the box has 1 colour printed with details of the device highlighting the features of the product and a grayscale image of the earbuds. There is a QR Code for the consumers to scan and download the TOZO App from Android and iOS devices.
It contains a pair of earbuds, a charging case, Six sizes of ear silicone ear tips, a USB Type-C charging cable, a Quick Start guide (including safety information) and a Warranty card.

TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD)
TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD) comes in a white box that has 4 colour printed images on the box cover. On the back, the side of the box has all the specifications mentioned on the box. On opening the box you will find the plastic slider which has a round disc with a quick start-up guide and warranty and a USB Type-C cable.
Body & Specification
TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD) dimension is 100mm with a thickness of 5mm with a USB Type-C port. The TOZO W1 Wireless Charger is made of a CNC Aviation Aluminum base and has a pure copper coil with an Intelligent Chip and the top of the pad comes with a high gloss Lacquer finish. The pad also comes with a multi-coloured LED light which indicates status and charging details.
The top side of the TOZO W1 Wireless Charger has a cut which gives the edge a nice shiny style. The base has a rubber fitting which provides the charging pad stability and stiffer mobility.
TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD) charges using Qi charging technology and can provide 10 watts to 7.5 watts charging with a quick charger adaptor. The Intelligent chip in the charging pad can detect foreign objects like metal or plastic and doesn’t start charging creating a safety factor.
Testing the TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD)
For the test, I have tried various devices from earbuds, watches, and smartphones and it worked perfectly.
Of course, charging is slow on the TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD) as it only charges 7.5 watts to 10 watts compared to a normal charger to a quick charger.
Who should buy this product – TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD)
This product would be great for bedside longtime charging and in the office where the consumer instead of everything connecting the device’s charging port. Just keep it on the TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD) and the phone will charge automatically.

The TOZO Crystal Buds Earbuds are recommended for everyone who loves music and would like to own a comfortable pair of earbuds with a great range of sound quality. I would recommend users who buy this device use the right comfortable ear tips as per your ear design.
The earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3. I was impressed with the sound quality and range of the sound as mentioned after setting my ear test setting. The Trebles were crisp and clear, the frequency level was great and the bass level was deep and quite low. Most importantly, it was not over basses which could hurt my ear drum. It can be used for workout and outdoor activities as it is IPX8 rated and has 6 different sizes of ear tips. 16 preset equalizer settings.
TOZO Crystal Buds Earbuds can be charged with a TOZO W1 Wireless Charger (PAD), so it can be great to buy together.
The most interesting the price of the devices is excellent. You can buy earbuds for AED 221 a wireless charging pad for AED 104 and you pay AED325.
Please note: I had kept the level of the volume on the smartphone to half. And request and recommendation to all users, keep your volume half and let your brain and ear drum adjust as per your requirement. Continuous high-volume listening may damage your eardrums and chances to have hearing loss.
