The Review – Soundcore P20i

The Soundcore P20i box is a colour combination of light blue and Cyan Matt finish paper box with text and logo with 4 colour printed images of the Soundcore P20i with “True Wireless Earbuds”, 22 Preset Eqs, IPX5 waterproof and 30H Playtime mentioned on the box. The backside of the box comes with details of the device highlighting the features of the product.
Inside Content – Soundcore P20i

The box opens from the top and inside it has a black colour plastic tray. The tray has the Quick Start Guide in multiple languages and a warranty card. Below the Quick Start guide, you will find the Soundcore P20i case in a transparent pack and the side compartment you find 2 pairs of earbuds and a USB Type-A to USB Type – C short cable for charging the device. Soundcore also provides a small carry tag nylon rope with black and grey colour with a loop to hold the Soundcore P20i carry case.

Charging Case – Soundcore P20i

The Soundcore P20i which we received is matt black. The charging case is made out of ABS plastic and comes in a matt black smooth finish. The cover of the case has the “Soundcore” logo reverse embossed in a black piano finish on the cover. On the bottom side, you have certification details in faint white colour. As mentioned earlier, the carry tag provided in the box can be attached to the top left side of the charging case. On the back side of the charging case, you have the USB Type- C port for charging.
Earbuds – Soundcore P20i

The Soundcore P20i earbuds come placed in the charging case and the earbuds charging pins are protected with fine plastic film to avoid battery discharge in the initial setup. Remove the plastic film from each earbud charging pin and place them again to charge the earbuds. The earbuds and charging case come with 75% to 80% battery charge. So you can connect the device as soon as you remove it from the box. But I would suggest first charging the device fully (wired) before you connect with your smartphone.
Soundcore App- Soundcore P20i
You can pair the Soundcore P20i directly via searching and connecting via Bluetooth on your smartphone or your pairing device. And to use the full potential of the Soundcore P20i, you should download the Soundcore App from Google Playstore or Apple Store.
Create a login and password and choose the Soundcore P20i device from the list mentioned on the App. As soon you connect, by default, the Equalizer setting is on Soundcore Signature mode. There are 22 preset Equalizer modes.

The earbud’s design is great and fits perfectly with additional 2 pairs of earbuds to fit perfectly to your ear. The Soundcore P20i earbuds come in a combination of a shiny matt finish with the “Soundcore” logo in reverse embossed in the black piano finish on the earbuds. This is my 1st time reviewing a Bluetooth 5.3 version of earbuds. The company say the Bluetooth range is 10m from the device. I have worn the earbuds and walked far away up to 7m from the smartphone (source of music) and there were no issues with drop-in music. Even though I was wearing it in the washroom where I had 2 walls in between the source and earbuds, it functioned with no issues.
Souncore App Features – Soundcore P20i
The Soundcore P20i earbuds once paired shows up in the Soundcore App too. On the home screen, you find the details of the earbuds and case battery level.
When you click on the Soundcore P20i image on the screen, you get more details like Equalizer, Controls and find devices.
Under the Equalizer – You have 22 presets of equalizer setting and you can also set your choice of equalizer setting.
(Please note: The Equalizer mode will activate when you have both earbuds in your ear)

Under the Controls – You can find the preset controls or you can personalize the control setting for each earbud (Left & Right).
Find Devices – you can find your lose earbuds if you are close by pressing the play button on the screen. Gaming Mode – you can activate the mode by toggling between ON and OFF. But the EQ setting gets disabled when the gaming mode is on.
Audio Quality – Soundcore P20i
I tested the Soundcore P20i for hours on different genres of music from Country, Jazz, Rock, R&B, Soul, Metal, Lounge, Techno, House, Hindi Classical and Hindi Bollywood. I tested the earbuds with the Hi-res quality 24bit 96kHz and 320kps Mp3 music and also watched multiple movies.
As I am quite picky about music and devices as I am also an audiophile listener. I made sure I tested for hours while working on my articles as I am doing right now using the device while writing this review too. From small nooks and trebles to the perfect rumbling sound of the bass, it sounded perfect and I could feel the different ranges of audio equipment used in the song that is from guitar to snares, string pulls, vocal breathing and distance chirping of birds in the lounge music. Even while watching movies, I could hear the long-distance boom and distance crackling of fire sound.
This could be possible with φ 11mm dynamic drivers. Which emphasizes a wide sound stage with high-frequency clarity to bring the specific sound curve to a variety of listening preferences.

Audio & Video Calls – Soundcore P20i
On testing the Soundcore P20i earbuds for audio & video calls. I could hear the audio very clearly. My voice on the other end, felt as if I am in a small cubical room which created little echo but as they mentioned they could hear me clearly and there was no distortion in the audio or additional surrounding sound.
Price and Availability – Soundcore P20i

The Soundcore P20i Earbuds launch price was AED99 and comes in two colours available: – white and Black & Gray. It is available on Amazon’s website
Please note: Current offer on the Soundcore P20i Earbuds are sold for AED69
Conclusion – Soundcore P20i

I would recommend the Soundcore P20i Earbuds to everyone who loves music and would like to own comfortable pair of earbuds with a great range of sound quality. I would recommend users who buy this device use the right comfortable ear tips as per your ear design.
The earbuds support audio with ANC with Bluetooth 5.3. I was impressed with the sound quality and range of the sound quality, the Trebles were crisp and clear, the Mids frequencies level was great and the bass level is deep and quite low. And most important, the Bass frequency was not very high which could hurt my ear drum. The earbuds are perfect for workout and outdoor activities as it is IPX5 rated with 22 Preset Equalizer mode.
