The Review
The Box & Content (Model – D2342)

Thanks to the Anker PR team, I received the sealed pack Nebula Cosmos 4K SE for review. The device came in a four-colour printed box with prominent black and red. The box has an image of the projector on it. It opens from the top side, and you will find two boxes. The box has the Quick Start guide tucked in, and on opening the box, you will find a power cable with a CEE 7/4 (German) plug pin, the nebula remote control and a pair of AAA batteries for the remote control. The second box also has a power cable with a suitable “G” plug pin. Below these boxes, you will find the Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector wrapped in a translucent cover for protection.
The Testing & Usage
I had an issue getting a big empty wall to project the image from the Nebula Cosmos 4K SE, so I had to use it on my living room balcony. I placed the projector on a small table and provided the power source from the extension board. The first time, switching on took little time, and then I got the screen, which showcased a lot of Apps, including Netflix, Prime Video, Crunchyroll, Spotify, YouTube, Disney Plus, and a lot more Apps. Then, I connected to my Wi-Fi router and checked for software OS updates.
You connect to the Google TV App with your login. Once linked to your account, You can go to setup mode to Auto Focus and Keystone correction. Then, you can choose your picture mode from the Preset modes: – NebulaMaster, Standard, Vivid, Sport and Movie. The projector has an Adaptive Projection Image that automatically adjusts the image. You can also download the Nebula Connect App, which lets you control your smartphone’s volume, autofocus, and other features.

The light comes with Dolby Vision and a 4K output. The lamp image can be keystone Correction: Auto (Vertical +40°), Auto (Horizontal +30°). The device has HybridBeam Technology for High Brightness, which combines LED and laser light sources to deliver 1,800 ANSI Lumens of brightness and 1.07 billion rich colours.

The Remote Control

The Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector comes with a Bluetooth remote control. The remote control has preset buttons for YouTube, Netflix, and Prime Video. It also has a Google Assist Button, volume, brightness, Keystone adjustment, back, Home, and power On/Off. There is a round dial shape for submenus to an access menu for up, down, left, and right-side control. The remote control range is quite good from the front of the projector but weak when using it from the back of the projector. The Bluetooth remote control supports Android and iOS.
My Personal Experience
I enjoyed testing and reviewing the Nebula Cosmos 4K SE. I no doubt had it briefly, but it has excellent picture and sound quality. The device has some fantastic points, but I found minor issues while testing the product.

Pros
- Compact design, sturdy and weighing 4.5kg – I could carry it anywhere and use it.
- With Wi-Fi connectivity and Google TV, I can watch videos and images without any additional source or player.
- Watching 4K Videos on Netflix and YouTube was a fantastic experience.
- 4K Dolby Vision, which produces vibrant colour and high contrast ratio
- This is my 1st projector review, which has excellent sound with video.
- You can get a 200-inch size projection without losing quality.
Cons
- I found a minor issue with the auto-correction adaption for the background wall, especially the black colour reproduction on pure-white walls. Ideally, Wall Colour Adaption and Dolby Vision should be able to provide jet black on projection. My projection wall was a light yellowish colour, or you can call it an off-white wall, so the black colour was dark grey but not pure black.
- Ideally, to get the perfect view and use Dolby Vision, you need total darkness to enjoy the video quality.
- Sometimes, the Bluetooth remote control has issues working when used from the back of the projector.
- As it needs continuous power, you must have a battery pack or power station while using it outdoors.
- It is a little expensive, but it has very competitive pricing compared to other brands of projectors of similar quality.
Conclusion
Overall, the Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector’s experience was excellent 4K Video quality with exceptional sound quality due to its size. It is a fantastic buy for consumers who love watching movies and videos on a 200-inch screen for the price of 75 inches.
Price
The Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector is retailing at AED AED 5,499/- And it is available on SharafDG for AED 4949.10
