A globally-renowned brand, Oppo has established itself as a leader in technology, excelling in smartphones, smart devices, audio products, power banks, and various electronics. The latest addition to their portfolio is the Find N3 series, officially launched on November 16th for the UAE market. I have had the opportunity to review the Oppo Find N3, a foldable smartphone, and present the following details.
Design & Specifications – Oppo Find N3 Fold Smartphone (Model – CPH2499)

The Oppo Find N3 Fold Smartphone boasts folded dimensions of 153.4 x 73.3 x 11.7 mm and unfolded dimensions of 153.4 x 143.1 x 5.8 mm, weighing 239 grams with a non-removable battery. Featuring a 7.82-inch LTPO3 OLED display with Dolby Vision, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2800 nits, it offers a resolution of 2268 x 2440 pixels at ~426ppi density, achieving a ~89.6% screen-to-body ratio.
The cover display, protected by Ceramic Guard, measures 6.31 inches with a resolution of 1116 x 2484 pixels and 431ppi density, resulting in a 91.8% screen-to-body ratio. The device, sporting a leather back and a shiny steel/aluminum frame, operates on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.2, powered by Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) + Adreno 740 GPU, 16GB RAM, and 512GB ROM for the UAE market.
The triple rear cameras include a 48MP primary, 48MP ultra-wide, and 64MP telephoto lens, with a single 32MP front in-screen camera. Oppo partnered with Hasselblad for the camera technology. Both cameras support impressive video recording capabilities, and the LED flash, HDR, and panorama features enhance photography. The unfolded frame is sleek, featuring a curved design, with the power button and volume rockers on the right side, a lock button on the left, and an Oppo logo in white on the back.

The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button, and the phone supports various navigation systems. The bottom side houses the SIM tray, USB Type-C super-charge (67W) input, speaker grills, and mic, while the top side remains clean with a single mic and thin ear speaker.
The Review

The device I received for review is the Black Edition, featuring a synthetic leather back panel that resists fingerprints. Unfolded, the smartphone boasts an impressive ~89.6% screen-to-body ratio, with a thin bezel seamlessly merging with the frame. The curved back panel and display make the phone sleek and thin. The display, optimized for fluidity with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensures remarkably smooth swipes and scrolls in a mostly optimized user interface. Viewing this display under direct sunlight is no slouch either, thanks to a peak brightness of 2800 nits.
When folded, the front cover display is protected by a ceramic coating, with the only noticeable feature being the top area housing the single-lens camera in a punch-hole design embedded in the screen. A significant difference in the foldable screen is the minimal crease compared to competitors. The body looks and feels very sturdy, providing a great hand feel.
The Oppo Find N3 Fold Smartphone is a flagship premium smartphone designed for those seeking a stylish, expensive, foldable device.
