GameSir has sent us the X2 Pro Mobile Controller for the Andriod device for review which has a license from XBOX.

Design & Specification
GameSir X2 Pro Mobile Controller comes in 4 colour-printed boxes with the GameSir Logo and also mentioned on the box are details of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Card, mentioned “designed for XBOX” Inside the printed box, you get the sturdy black colour to carry case and inside the case, you get X2 Pro Mobile Controller and red box which contains the user manual, XBOX Game pass, GameSir Sticker, Warranty card and four textured thumbstick covers: Two concaves, and two convex.
GameSir X2 Pro Mobile Controller weighs 179 grams and comes with a size of 184mm x 85mm x37mm. Since the X2 Pro is designed for Xbox, it features dual offset analogue sticks, the Xbox button, Xbox-style A, B, X, and Y button layout, and the Menu and View buttons found on the Xbox Series X|S controllers. It’s fully compatible with the Xbox Game Pass app on Android and supports Xbox Remote Play from your local console over Wi-Fi.
Below the left thumb stick is a very clicky D-Pad with low travel. It’s got a different feel than the standard Xbox D-Pad, but it’s extremely responsive.
The rear of the X2 Pro features slightly raised textured grips for added comfort, with a customizable rear button embedded on each side. The mostly-rectangular shape of the controller isn’t the most comfortable design to hold, but its rounded edges and small grips help contour your hand a bit.
The device comes with Kailh Micro Switches, Analog Triggers with Hall Effect Magnetic Sensors, Analog Joysticks and 2 Back Buttons. The GameSir X2 Pro Mobile Controller I received for review came for Android smartphones. The smartphone has to be above Android 8 OS and with a USB Type-C pin. The device can use smartphones 110-179 mm in length. The device works from the battery power of the smartphone. For longer play time, the GameSir X2 Pro Mobile Controller and smartphone can be charged from the additional USB Type-C which is present on the right side of the controller on the bottom side.
As mentioned, the GameSir X2 Pro Mobile Controller is meant for Android smartphones for XBOX mobile gaming and the box also contains an XBOX Game pass with which you can play XBOX games by downloading from the Google Play store and the GameSir app. There are some games which are very compatible with X2 Pro Mobile Controller. Games like Asphalt 9, Fortnite, Forza 4 and many more games.
The process is very simple to connect the Android smartphone; you have to attach the smartphone correctly to the USB Type-C pin on the controller. The USB Type-C bend upwards 30 degrees for easy connectivity. I had to download the GameSir app from Google Play Store. After the installation of the app, then need to add the Game Pass card code, to activate it.
The analogue sticks are super snappy and responsive, but quite small in diameter by default
So I downloaded the Asphalt 9 game on the smartphone which was around 4GB. I could connect the game with GameSir X2 Pro Mobile Controller with ease. The X2 Pro includes two different sets of rubberized thumb stick caps in convex and concave variants that make the sticks feel much better to use. If you prefer a different layout for the face buttons, they can easily be popped off and swapped thanks to a unique magnetic system. The software can even be configured to match your preferred layout, as well. On top of the X2 Pro are two Kailh micro-switch mechanical shoulder buttons that are both snappy and responsive thanks to the tactical feedback they provide. GameSir claims they feature around 40% less travel distance than standard membrane controller buttons. Just behind the shoulder buttons are two very smooth analogue triggers that offer precise control that’s accurate down to 0.1mm.
After the installation, played the Asphalt 9 game on my smartphone and it was fun using the device to control the game. Whenever, I banged the car on the wall, hit obstacles or a competitor’s car, the feedback vibration was nice.
