World-Vape-Show-2022-in-Dubai,-UAE
The World Vape Show 2022 happened from the 16th – 18th of June at Dubai World Trade Center in the Sheikh Saeed Halls. Now a consumer who is looking for a better alternative other than smoking cigarettes can officially buy vaping products in the UAE. In 2019, the UAE opened up to vaping brands and shops to sell legally vaping products in the market.
This was my first visit to any organized Vape show in UAE. My expectation was it would be a small show with some brands and distributors showcasing the brands and products. But I was wrong, the vape show was quite big with a lot of brands coming from across the globe to exhibit their devices and a lot of different flavoured vaping liquids.
The Vape Show was restricted to only people above 21 years and strict code of conduct on wearing masks and designated places for vaping in the arena. The show had a lot of visitors from vape shop owners, distributors and users. Most of the exhibition booths had arrangements to try out the different flavours provided by the brands. All the exhibitors took the most care about the users by providing individuals with silicon disposable tips to try out the different flavours of e-liquids with different levels of nicotine.
The interesting fact which I found, is most of the brands were showcasing a lot of disposal vaping devices from 600 kinds of stuff to 2500puffs. There were brands showcasing different colours and designs of vaping devices including technology.
Honestly, I am not in favour of the disposal of vapes, the idea that vaping was the better alternative to smoking and also reduce carbon emission and reduce the environmental damage caused by smoking cigarettes and remaining used filters discharged by smokers which land up in the landfills and oceans. After using the disposal vapes, the plastic casing, electronic chips and lithium battery may land up in the landfill and you are aware plastics do not disintegrate easily.
Personally, vapes which can be used reused or refilled are much better than disposable ones. Also, I tried the disposal vapes and found the e-liquid flavour too strong compared to the general refillable e-liquid bottles.
Many of the stands had DJs playing music with a lot of wild colours and sports cars displayed at the exhibition centre.
At some of the stands, the exhibitors were creating huge vape clouds and showcasing their abilities of tricks.
Most of the exhibitor’s objective was to showcase better alternatives to cigarette smoking which not only create major harm to your body and also affect passive smokers and pollute the environment with the release of carbon emission. Also alternative to smokers for intake of nicotine and reduce the risk of carcinogenic elements in their body.
There were brands which showcased electronic Shishas. The UAE-based Medad Technology unveiled the world’s first ultrasonic Shisha – NESTA and also showcased the ultrasonic portable vape – NebMist. Both the units work on technology where the e-liquid is not heated up as normally the other vaping devices do. The unit atomizes the e-liquid with ultrasonic technology. There is no heating or burning of tobacco, which means no harmful chemicals are produced. Furthermore, while the amount of carbon monoxide detected in one gram of hookah tobacco is around 143 mg, the level of carbon monoxide emitted by NESTA is zero.

There was a company which helps brands to licenses and government approvals to sell vaping products like different flavoured e-liquids and devices for the UAE region.
Overall, the experience of the visit to the world vape show was interesting, great and seeing a lot of brands, devices and various flavours of e-liquid and different options for the vaping.
