The friendly SHURE MEA team welcomed me and gave me a complete tour of the facility. They offered hands-on demonstrations in real-world setups that reflect the region’s rising demand for advanced AV solutions. My Experience at SHURE MEA Experience Zone
Before my visit, I thought SHURE’s devices mainly focused on microphone-based audio capture. My perception changed instantly when I experienced their working models at the Experience Zone.
The MicroFlex Ecosystem particularly impressed me. Inside the Education demo room, the ceiling featured the MXA920, MXA902, and MXN5W-C networked loudspeakers. The team also showcased the Microflex Wireless Microphone System for classrooms, meetings, and large conferences.
All these products connected seamlessly through IntelliMix Room audio processing solution for AV conferencing, SystemAPI, and Designer 6 software. The demonstration showed how the ceiling MXA panel captured the presenter’s voice and transmitted it across the room using the ceiling loudspeakers.
Imagine a massive hall fully equipped with SHURE MXA panels and loudspeakers. With Designer 6 software, the system captures audio from anywhere in the room and distributes it across the hall. This removes the need for handheld microphones or shotgun mics, making the experience smooth, modern, and hassle-free.
The DCA901 Innovation that Redefines Sports Audio
Another product that blew my mind was the SHURE DCA901. The team showed me a demo video of NBA basketball broadcasts, where this technology captured game audio without using traditional shotgun mics.
Normally, sports broadcasters rely on powerful shotgun microphones aimed directly at the subject. But the DCA901 changes that. A sound engineer can now select a specific zone on the court and capture precise audio remotely. This system can also broadcast immersive 5.1 surround sound for TV viewers, creating a completely new audio experience for sports fans.
