In 2018, the POCO brand was launch by Xiaomi Inc., a Chinese electronics company based in Beijing. The first phone was called Pocophone F1. Xiaomi created the POCO brand to launch high-end, premium smartphones that would compete directly with flagship smartphones. Later in 2020, Xiaomi Inc. decided to create a separate brand identity POCO series of the phone which offered top of the line specifications at an affordable price. The brand POCO entered the UAE market around July 2020 with the POCO F1 smartphone and recently introduced mid-range POCO X3 (NFC) smartphones for the UAE market with competitive pricing with great features.

We received the POCO X3 NFC smartphone (Model – M2007J20CG) for review.

The POCO X3 NFC Smartphone has a dimension of 165.3 x 76.8 x 9.4 mm and weighing 215 grams which includes a non-removal battery. It has an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and a size of 6.67 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a screen 395 PPI density, 450 nits max brightness, and 120Hz. It has an 84.6% screen-to-body ratio and resolution 20:9 ratio. The body build is in a plastic shell with a thin black metal band that sits between the glass screen and plastic sides. The front display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

It uses Android 10 with the MIUI 12.0.3 as the user interface. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G Octa-Core chipset + GPU – Adreno 618 with 6 GB RAM and a 64 GB ROM for storage. 

The smartphones with the Dual Hybrid Nano SIM Card Tray Slot (IP53 – Splash resistant) and as for the network, it can support 2G/ 3G/ 4G LTE 

It comes with the Quad cameras on the rear 64 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. The front camera has Single 20 MP which embedded in the display.

POCO X3 NFC frame has the power button which also doubles for the fingerprint sensor and above the power button, you the volume rocker on the right-hand side of the device, and the SIM Card Tray is on the left-hand side of the phone. The bottom of the phone has the USB Type- C charging input, speaker grills, mic, and 3.5mm jack output.
